NAIOP, The National Association of Industrial and Office Properties is Silicon Valley’s and the nation's leading trade association for developers, owners, investors, asset managers and other professionals in industrial, office and mixed-use commercial real estate. Our members promote responsible, sustainable development that creates jobs. NAIOP supports diversity within the industry, provides education and advocates for legislation that benefits the communities in which we work and live.

Through promoting and maintaining opportunities for commercial real estate development and equipping our members with knowledge and resources for success, NAIOP has become the voice for commercial real estate in Silicon Valley. Nationally, NAIOP comprises over 14,500 members in 53 North American chapters. With 140 members representing over 80 companies, NAIOP Silicon Valley has evolved into one of the region’s most prestigious and most effective commercial real estate organizations. NAIOP’s powerful membership has enabled the industry through to become one of Silicon Valley’s leading economic engines.

Key players in commercial real estate joined together nearly four decades ago to form the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties, believing that they could forge a path towards a better future by providing their colleagues with new avenues to:

NAIOP provides communication, networking and business opportunities for all real estate related professionals; provides a forum for continuing education; and promotes effective public policy, through its grassroots network, to create, protect and enhance property values. NAIOP Silicon Valley chapter members have great opportunities at the local level to enhance their business through educational programs, networking and government affairs.
